A way to analyse the health aspect of a person is to analyse the BaZi birth chart with emphasis on the strength of the elements and their interaction with one another. The same principle applies to the animal signs. However, the animal signs also carry hidden stems and we need to take that into the overall analysis. 

A Ba Zi birth chart that revealed a weakness in the water element can point to health problem relating to the kidney. A clash of the animal signs between the Rat and Horse in a Ba Zi birth chart can indicate heart ailment. However, it takes advance technique to ascertain if such indications in a BaZi chart will manifests in real health issues. There has to be collaborating factors that combined to give such inferences with due consideration to the person’s lifestyle and luck pillars. If a person is living a healthy lifestyle with proper diet and exercise, it can mitigate the unhealthy factors in the Ba Zi birth chart. An experience astrologer can also support his analysis by physical observation. For example, if he detects a weakness in the heart from the Ba Zi birth chart, he will also look at your face. If it is pale, then it is likely that your heart is weak. 

But there are no certainties that any negative health condition unveiled in the BaZi chart will come to bear on person as his or her luck pillars can also make a difference.
